Gerald Sun

Gerald Sun is the Director of AI at AstraZeneca, where they apply their expertise in machine learning and bioinformatics to enhance drug discovery and development. They previously served as a Senior Data Scientist at AstraZeneca, where they initiated a successful monthly tutorial series to foster knowledge in data science across the organization. Gerald completed a Ph.D. in Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, investigating neural stem cell mechanisms and developing innovative imaging techniques. Earlier in their career, they held research assistant positions at the University of Southern California and contributed to postdoctoral research at Novartis, focusing on neural circuits and behavior.
