Hannah Thorpe

Hannah Thorpe is a Senior Research Scientist at AstraZeneca, specializing in molecular and cell biology within the field of oncology. They have extensive experience in using CRISPR-Cas9 technologies for target identification and validation, as well as investigating resistance mechanisms to cancer therapies. Previously, Hannah held positions as a Scientist in a national COVID-19 testing initiative and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at AstraZeneca, where they focused on drug combination strategies for improved patient outcomes. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds, a Master's in Molecular and Cell Biology from Sheffield Hallam University, and a PhD in Molecular Pathology from the University of Nottingham.
