Hazel Mak

Hazel Mak is a Senior Research Scientist in Protein Science at AstraZeneca, where they focus on expressing and purifying oncology-related proteins for various applications. They have previously held roles that enhanced their communication and research skills, including serving as a Summer School Ambassador at Imperial College Business School and a Green Chemistry Researcher. Hazel completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Medicine at Imperial College London and has mentored students while actively promoting STEM subjects through outreach initiatives.
