Heléne Segersäll

Heléne Segersäll is a Director and Principal Patient Safety Scientist at AstraZeneca, where they focus on patient safety initiatives. Previously, Heléne held roles including Pharmacovigilance Scientist and Senior Pharmacovigilance Scientist at AstraZeneca, and served as a Clinical Research Associate at TFS Trial Form Support. Heléne completed a PhD in Neurobiology and Neurosciences at the University of Gothenburg, where their research centered on reactive gliosis in the injured brain. They also conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Gothenburg, investigating the role of astrocytes in brain injury.
