Hiya Datta

Hiya Datta has a diverse background in drug safety and regulatory writing, most recently serving as Manager Regulatory Writing at AstraZeneca since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Quality Assurance Specialist at Indegene, a Drug Safety Associate at Cognizant, and a Patient Safety Specialist at Tata Consultancy Services, where vaccine safety management was a focus. Earlier positions include Junior Research Associate at Bharat Biotech International Limited and an intern at both Palsons Derma Pvt. Ltd and BioMedical Genomics Centre, where research on psoriasis metagenomics was conducted. Hiya Datta holds a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Calcutta and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Microbiology from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.
