Iain MacPhee

Iain MacPhee is a seasoned expert in renal medicine with extensive experience in both academia and the pharmaceutical industry. MacPhee served as a Reader in Renal Medicine at St. George's University of London from 2008 to July 2016 and previously held the position of Senior Lecturer in Renal Medicine at the same institution from 2002 to 2008. In January 2025, MacPhee took on a leadership role at AstraZeneca as Global Clinical Head for Nephrology within Late Clinical Development, following several positions focused on early clinical development in nephrology and related fields. MacPhee's academic achievements include a DPhil in Immunology from the University of Oxford, a BSc(Hons) in Immunology from The University of Glasgow, and a BMBCh in Medicine from the University of Oxford.
