Iain Rushworth

Iain Rushworth possesses extensive experience in analytical and regulatory affairs, with significant roles in prominent organizations such as Teva Pharmaceuticals, AstraZeneca, and Charles River Laboratories. At Teva Pharmaceuticals, Iain served as a Senior Scientist, specializing in in vitro release testing and the training of team members. Previous experience includes leading analytical roles for clinical release testing at AstraZeneca and developing methods for detecting counterfeit whiskies at Tatlock and Thomson Ltd. Iain's educational background includes a Master in Science in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, both from the University of Strathclyde. Additional expertise includes contributions to regulatory submissions within the vaccines and immune therapies unit and a collaborative project with the University of Arizona focused on detecting mercury in museum objects.
