Isabelle Schatz

Isabelle Schatz is currently the Director of Patient Advocacy for BioPharmaceuticals R&D and Global Corporate Affairs at AstraZeneca, where they also contribute to the EUCAN Government Affairs & Policy team. Previously, they held various roles at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, including Director and Associate Director of Patient Advocacy, focusing on engagement with patient advocacy groups in the DACH region. Isabelle's earlier experiences include positions as a Junior Manager and Manager of Patient Relations at GlaxoSmithKline and involvement as a guest researcher at HelmholtzZentrum München. They completed their education at Karolinska Institute from 2016 to 2018 and worked as a research assistant at Hochschule Ravensburg-Weingarten and an intern at Fresenius Medical Care.
