Jack Ashton, PhD, is currently the Global Development Scientist Associate Director for Solid Tumour Cell Therapy at AstraZeneca, where they have contributed to drug development since 2016. With a robust background in oncology small molecule and CAR-T cell therapy programs, Jack's previous roles include Operations Manager at the North West Biotech Initiative and a PhD Researcher in Translational Oncogenomics at Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute. They began their career in 2010 as an Administrative Assistant at Ian Farmer Associates and completed an industrial placement at Novartis in 2014. Jack holds a Bachelor's degree from The University of Manchester and volunteered for the UK COVID-19 testing effort in 2020.
