James Conway is a Director and Principal Scientist in Oncology Bioinformatics at AstraZeneca, where they analyze clinical, genomic, and genetic data to support Phase I and II studies. Previously, James held various roles at Merck, including Associate Principal Scientist, Systems Biology, leading projects that identified novel targets in cardiometabolic diseases and developed bioinformatics capabilities. They also worked as an Applications Engineer at Keithley Instruments and as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at Cleveland Clinic, focusing on data acquisition and analysis. James earned a PhD in Physiology & Biophysics from Case Western Reserve University and holds both an MS and a BS in Physics.
