James Pearson is currently a Therapy Area Lead for Breast Cancer at AstraZeneca, having transitioned from a role as Director of Global Medical Affairs at Gilead Sciences. Previously, they served as a Medical Manager in Haematology at Roche and a Disease Area Specialist in GI Oncology at Bristol Myers Squibb. James also held the position of MSL at Sandoz and worked as a Clinical Scientist at University Hospital South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust from 2012 to 2017. Educationally, James earned a degree in Clinical Sciences with a focus on Gastroenterology from Newcastle University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree at the University of Leeds, along with prior studies in Healthcare Leadership through The Open University.
