Jan Ekelund

Jan Ekelund is currently the Statistical Science Director at AstraZeneca, where they oversee statistical operations. They previously held the same role at AstraZeneca R&D from 1992 to 2013, contributing to the development and marketing of respiratory products. Ekelund also worked as a Principal Statistician at Novo Nordisk from 2014 to 2015 and served as a Statistician at the University of Gothenburg, where they supported surgical outcome research. Their educational background includes an M.Sc. in Mathematics from Lund University, obtained in 1987.
