Jared Orwenyo

Jared Orwenyo, PhD, RAC, is a seasoned professional in regulatory affairs currently serving as Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs for Oncology Regulatory Science, Strategy, and Excellence at AstraZeneca. Previously, they held the role of Regulatory Affairs Manager at the same company from 2020 to 2023. Jared has extensive research experience, including a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the Institute of Human Virology of the University of Maryland, and has contributed to HIV vaccine research. Their earlier roles included Project Assistant at the International Center of Insect Physiology and Ecology and Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Novo Nordisk A/S. Jared also has experience in academia as a Teaching Assistant at both the University of Maryland Baltimore County and Western Michigan University.
