Jawad Hasan

Jawad Hasan is currently the Therapeutic Area Head for Global Patient Safety in Metabolics at AstraZeneca, a position held since 2021. Previously, Jawad served as the Executive Medical Director at Alexion Pharmaceuticals from 2018 to 2021, and as a Medical Director for Global Patient Safety at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from 2010 to 2013. Prior to these roles, Jawad was the Global Safety Officer at Biogen Idec between 2013 and 2016 and worked as an Associate Medical Safety Officer at SENTRX from 2007 to 2010.
