Jay Kuo

Jay Kuo is an experienced in vivo pharmacologist and translational biologist with over 15 years of expertise in developing and executing PK/PD and efficacy studies. They have worked in both small biotechnology and large pharmaceutical companies, including NitroMed, Surface Logix, and Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals. Currently, Jay holds the position of Director Team Leader in Renal Bioscience in-Vivo at AstraZeneca and serves as a Director of In Vivo Pharmacology at Chinook Therapeutics. Jay's educational background includes pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. They prioritize effective communication and collaboration while mentoring team members, fostering innovation, and managing research budgets.
