Jenny Vargas

Jenny Vargas is an Associate Principal Scientist in Chemometrics at AstraZeneca, where they apply their expertise in process monitoring and control, as well as chemometric model development. With a robust background in continuous manufacturing, they have contributed significantly to enhancing process efficiency and product quality across several organizations, including Janssen Inc. and GSK. They previously held roles as a PhD Scientist Consultant and a Math Teacher, among other positions, while also serving as a PhD Researcher and Research PhD Student focused on applied chemistry. Jenny Vargas has advanced training in chemometrics, holding multiple degrees in chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico and has been actively involved in technology transfer and model optimization initiatives throughout their career.
