Jesper Havsol

Jesper Havsol is a seasoned leader with over two decades of experience in data science and machine learning, currently serving as the Director of Business Planning, Strategy and Operations at AstraZeneca. Formerly a Senior Biomedical Informatics Scientist at AstraZeneca from 2011 to 2013, they played a crucial role in financial and strategic planning for the Data Science & Advanced Analytics department, which encompasses over 40 employees. Jesper also managed innovative projects, including the application of AI for emotion detection and clinical studies on wearable sensors. They earned a PhD in Medical Science from Karolinska Institutet and hold degrees in Chemical Engineering and Business.
