Jiali Wang, PhD, is currently the Data Insight Lead in Pharmaceutical Technology & Development at AstraZeneca. Previously, Jiali held roles as a Junior Research Engineer at Adwaiseo, where they developed a metadata extraction pipeline, and as an Advisor at PwC. Jiali’s academic background includes a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of Luxembourg, where they constructed a gene regulation model for gastrointestinal stromal tumors and co-authored four publications. Additionally, Jiali built an online repository of human microRNA target interactions and taught Advanced Statistics with R during their doctoral studies.
