Jiazhen Jiazhen is currently working as an Associate Principal AI Scientist at AstraZeneca, a position held since 2022, after serving as a Senior Data Scientist within the same company from 2021 to 2022. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Jiazhen completed a postdoctoral research position and gained experience as a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne in 2017, where they applied advanced techniques to analyze Electronic Health Record data. During an internship at IBM Research Australia in 2016, Jiazhen implemented a link-based metric to measure prerequisite relationships among concepts. Jiazhen holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Technology and a Master of Science in Computer Software and Theory from Northwest A & F University, as well as a PhD in Machine Learning from the University of Melbourne.
