Jo Appleton

Jo Appleton is a Regional Healthcare Manager at AstraZeneca, responsible for market and patient access across the East Midlands in cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic medicines. With a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, Jo previously served as a Hospital Sales Specialist and held various sales and management roles at AstraZeneca from 1996 to 2008, as well as a brief position in 2018. Jo's experience also includes leadership in the education sector, having been the Head of School at Edith Weston Academy from 2013 to 2016, and a Key Stage Coordinator at Brooke Hill Academy from 2011 to 2013. Jo holds a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry from University College Salford, completed in 1994.
