Julia Hedlund

Julia Hedlund is the Lead Quality Advisor at AstraZeneca, where they provide quality support within Development for parenteral and non-sterile manufacturing. They have a strong background in research and development, having previously held roles as Manager QA Microbiology and QA Microbiology at AstraZeneca, where they contributed to maintaining regulatory compliance and leading microbiological teams. Julia's experience includes positions at ABIGO Medical AB and Layerlab AB, where they led R&D initiatives and collaborated with academic partners. They earned a Ph.D. in Interface Biophysics from the University of Gothenburg, along with a Master of Science in Microbiology.
