Junmei Cairns, PhD, PMP, is a strategic scientific leader with nearly 20 years of experience across oncology, immunology, and metabolic diseases in academia, biotech, and global pharma. Currently a Translational Science Lead at AstraZeneca, Junmei provides strategic leadership for global drug development programs and fosters cross-functional collaborations. Prior to this role, Junmei served at Mayo Clinic as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology, where they directed impactful research strategies and cultivated partnerships to enhance clinical outcomes. Junmei holds a PhD from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and is engaged in an internship at JiTai Genechip Inc.
