Kasim Sader is the Associate Director of Cryo-EM at AstraZeneca, a role held since 2024. Previously, they served as an Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca from 2022 to 2024. Kasim's career includes a position as a Career Development Fellow at the National Institute for Medical Research, where they focused on electron cryomicroscopy of influenza, and a role as Team Leader at Thermo Fisher Scientific, leading the Cambridge Pharmaceutical CryoEM Consortium. They earned a PhD in Biophysics from the University of Leeds and hold an Hons. BSc. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from McMaster University.
