Katarina Hedman

Katarina Hedman is currently the Statistical Science Director for Late CVRM at AstraZeneca, where they lead global statistical support and focus on innovative methodologies in epidemiological studies. With over 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry, including 15 years in people management, Hedman has a proven track record in enhancing productivity and fostering collaborative work environments. Their past roles include significant positions at Pharmacia and Phadia AB, where they effectively managed clinical research teams and improved operational efficiencies. Katarina holds a PhD in Medicine from Uppsala University and has completed an Executive MBA in Business Management.
