Katharine Beča, Ph.D., is currently the Director of Global R&D Communications at AstraZeneca, where they integrate scientific acumen with strategic corporate initiatives. With a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont, they previously held various roles within AstraZeneca's R&D Science Communications team and worked as a Science Writer at Palladian Partners, Inc. Passionate about bridging science and society, Katharine thrives on fostering impactful connections through engaging initiatives. They are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Saint Michael's College.
