Katia Real is the Director of Precision Medicine - Tissue Diagnostics at AstraZeneca, where they lead innovative tissue diagnostic science to support Precision Medicine in oncology. Previously, Katia held the position of Senior Research Scientist at AstraZeneca, and before that, held various research roles at Takeda Cambridge, CEVA Phylaxia, and INSERM, focusing on drug discovery and pharmacology. Katia earned a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology from ENSTBB Bordeaux INP after completing studies in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Geology.
