KJ Hansen

KJ Hansen is a Senior Research Scientist at AstraZeneca, where they perform biophysical techniques and structural mass spectrometry within the Biophysics group. Prior to this role, they worked as a Research Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, developing biophysical assays and supporting drug discovery through mass spectrometry. KJ earned their PhD in Biophysics from King's College London, where their research focused on the dynamics of antibodies and membrane proteins using structural mass spectrometry. They also hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Kingston University and have experience as a Bioanalytical Scientist at LGC, specializing in LC-MS/MS methods for biotherapeutics.
