Lara McCarthy

Lara McCarthy is a Technical Accounting Manager at AstraZeneca, where they have been since 2023. An ICAEW ACA chartered accountant, Lara qualified with EY in 2018 after gaining valuable audit and accounting experience, including roles as a Senior - Assurance and Trainee Associate - Assurance. Prior to their current position, Lara held several roles at AstraZeneca, including Group Balance Sheet and Cashflow Lead and Group Financial Reporting Accountant. Lara began their career as a Weekend Sales Assistant at John Lewis and completed their education at Comberton Sixth Form from 2012 to 2014.
