Lie Ma is a Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca, specializing in cancer immunology, stem cell biology, and gene editing. They hold a Ph.D. in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology and Genetics from the University of Minnesota, where their research developed myeloid-derived suppressor cell-based therapies for graft versus host disease. Previously, they served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota and East China Normal University, respectively, focusing on CRISPR/Cas-based gene therapy and contributing to multiple prestigious publications.
