Loek Eggermont

Loek Eggermont has extensive experience in the fields of molecular life sciences and immunology, with a strong background in research and education. Beginning as a private teacher for high school students, Loek transitioned into various internships, including significant roles at Radboud University and The University of Georgia, focusing on biochemistry and synthetic organic chemistry. A PhD was obtained from Radboud University, concentrating on tumor immunology, followed by postdoctoral research at Radboudumc and Northeastern University, emphasizing cancer immunotherapy and biomaterials. Loek has held senior scientist positions at AstraZeneca and Neogene Therapeutics, contributing to advancements in immune response manipulation and cancer treatment strategies.
