Loredana Malafronte is a Senior Scientist currently engaged in Inhalation Product Development at AstraZeneca. Previously, Loredana worked as a Scientist in Product Design at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden from 2019 to 2023, and as a Process and Product Engineering Scientist at ETH Zürich from 2017 to 2019. Loredana's research background includes leading projects in process development for milk powders at Valio in 2016 and completing an Industrial PhD in Chemical Engineering focused on Spray Drying of dairy products at SP Sveriges Tekniska Forskningsinstitut from 2011 to 2015. Loredana holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Salerno, as well as a degree in Food Technology and Processing from ETH Zürich.
