Lori Chan

Associate Director

Lori (Chia-Hsin) Chan is a dedicated advocate and leader for innovative projects in cancer research. They earned a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from National Taiwan University in 2007. Lori served as a postdoctoral researcher at MD Anderson Cancer Center from 2008 to 2014, focusing on cancer biology and mouse tumor models. They progressed to various academic roles, becoming an Assistant Professor and later an Associate Professor with tenure at Stony Brook University, where their research centered on cancer stem cells, metabolism, and metastasis. Currently, as an Associate Director at AstraZeneca, Lori leads innovative strategies to advance molecular therapies and is recognized with the Early Oncology Award in Driving Innovation for their contributions.
