Marie Eckerd

Marie Eckerd is a retired Senior Director of Patient Engagement in Respiratory and Immunology at AstraZeneca, where they led global teams across various therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular and oncology, from 2000 to 2024. They oversaw key clinical operations, managed a clinical budget exceeding $210 million, and ensured regulatory submissions were met with high performance and efficiency. Prior to AstraZeneca, Marie worked as a Project Manager at IBEX Technologies and held a functional line management role at Wyeth-Ayerst Research, building expertise in data management and project management.
