Marika Ciappa

Marika Ciappa is the Director and Patient Safety Cluster Lead for Southern EU at AstraZeneca, where they focus on results, precision, and a strong sense of responsibility. Marika previously held various roles within AstraZeneca, including Senior Patient Safety Officer and Head of Patient Safety, and contributed to patient safety initiatives as a Pharmacovigilance Officer at STADA. Prior to their experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Marika worked as a Safety Surveillance Associate at Pfizer and served as a research student at the Università degli Studi di Milano.
