Matthew Farmer

Matthew Farmer is the Executive Director and Head of Oncology Clinical Science in Early Global Development at AstraZeneca. They have extensive experience in oncology clinical operations, having served as the Sr Director of Clinical Operations Head at MedImmune, where they led a team responsible for the operational delivery of early-phase clinical assets. Matthew's career includes various roles at AstraZeneca, beginning as a Clinical Research Associate and evolving into leadership positions. They earned a Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Birmingham and previously held a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at the University of Nottingham.
