Michael Bender

Michael Bender, M.S., CMQOE, CQA, is currently a Strategy Lead for External Supply and Manufacturing at AstraZeneca, combining over twenty-five years of experience in biopharmaceuticals. They previously held various quality management and validation roles at MedImmune, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, and AstraZeneca, including a Senior Manager position in Supplier Quality Management. Michael earned a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of Delaware and a Master of Science in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs from Temple University. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Certified Quality Auditor and Certified Quality Manager/Organizational Excellence through ASQ.
