Michael Boychyn

Michael Boychyn is an accomplished biotechnology CMC executive with extensive experience in manufacturing processes and analytical science. Currently serving as Executive Director at AstraZeneca, they oversee lifecycle management for drug substances, products, and associated processes. Previously, they held leadership roles at companies such as Amgen, Eli Lilly, and REGENXBIO, where they drove significant advancements in process development and quality management. Michael earned a BEng in Chemical and Materials Engineering, an MSc in Biochemical Engineering, and a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from UCL.
