Michael Friedman

Michael Friedman, PMP, is a seasoned technical medical device leader with over 18 years of experience in device and system engineering. They have held significant roles at companies such as Smiths Medical, Amgen, and AstraZeneca, where they have led the development of innovative medical devices, including the Onbody Injector for Neulasta and next-generation inhalers. Currently, as Sr Director of Device and System Engineering at AstraZeneca, they oversee global device functions and support end-to-end development for a variety of projects. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami.
