Michael Westerberg

Michael Westerberg is the Associate Director of Supply Optimisation at AstraZeneca, where they are focused on enhancing supply strategies. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager for Global External Sourcing and First Line Manager Production, where they successfully led a team producing over 4 billion tablets of heart medicine. Michael's educational background consists of a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköpings universitet, alongside a study in Biomedical Engineering at Universidad de Navarra. They previously worked as a Museum Assistant at Aquaria Vattenmuseum and completed a Master Thesis Project at Atea Sverige AB.
