Millie Fox

Millie Fox, Ph.D., is a senior scientist at AstraZeneca, specializing in drug discovery within the oncology field. With extensive experience in Cell Engineering, Cell Biology, and Functional Genomics, Millie has utilized CRISPR/Cas9 and NGS techniques for target identification and drug development. Millie completed a PhD at Cambridge University, where their research focused on the oncogenic kinase ACK (TNK2) and its role in cancer cell growth. Prior to this, Millie held various positions, including research roles at GSK and an industrial placement, which honed their skills in assay generation and scientific analysis.
