Mita Patel

Mita Patel is a Research Scientist at AstraZeneca, where they have been involved since 2021. With over 15 years of experience in preformulation, solid state characterization, and formulation for both preclinical and clinical applications, Mita is recognized as a collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced environments. Previously, Mita held roles at Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where they served as a Senior Research Scientist, and at Boehringer Ingelheim, where they were a Research and Development Scientist for more than two decades. Mita started their career as a Laboratory Technician at Novo Nordisk in 1992 and completed a Summer Internship in Medicinal Chemistry at Boehringer Ingelheim in 1990. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at South Gujarat University.
