Muhammad Shaban

Muhammad Shaban is a research scientist with over nine years of experience in machine learning and AI-driven medical image analysis. Currently, they serve as the Head of Frontier AI Models at AstraZeneca, focusing on advanced AI models for multiplex spatial proteomics. Previously, Muhammad held roles at Brigham and Women's Hospital as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and at Harvard Medical School as a Machine Learning Scientist, contributing significantly to deep learning applications in biomedical research. They earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Warwick and have published over 15 research papers throughout their career.
