Neil Whitaker

Neil Whitaker is an accomplished finance and analytics professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Financial Control Assurance Director and Global Pipeline & Delivery Lead for Process Mining at AstraZeneca since September 2017, Neil specializes in Celonis process mining to enhance business operations and user capabilities. Prior roles at AstraZeneca include Senior Manager for Data & Advanced Process Analytics, where advanced PQL functions and process model design were key responsibilities, and Global Process Performance Metrics Manager for P2P, notable for the development of the Central Invoice Reception Tool. Prior to AstraZeneca, Neil worked at PwC as a Manager, focusing on Data Assurance and Analytics, and held a position as Senior Scientist at Pfizer. Education includes ACA certification from ICAEW and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of York.
