Nicky Howarth

Nicky Howarth is a Senior Lean Coach at AstraZeneca, where they focus on creating a world-class manufacturing organization by educating and supporting teams in lean leadership and process improvement. Previously, Nicky held various roles including Global Quality Lean Coach, Manufacturing Excellence Facilitator, and QC Supervisor at respected organizations such as Thermo Fisher Scientific and MedImmune. Nicky began their career as a Senior Manufacturing Technician at Applied Biosystems from 2006 to 2009, contributing to the formulation and quality control of molecular biology products. Nicky holds a BSc in Genetics from the University of Liverpool, earned between 2003 and 2006.
