Niko Andre

Niko Andre is an accomplished leader in the field of oncology, currently serving as Global Franchise Head for both Immuno Oncology and Hematology within the Oncology Business Unit at AstraZeneca since October 2020. In addition to this role, Niko also holds an ad interim position as Regional Head for Europe & Canada within the same unit and contributes as a member of the Supervisory Board at Acerta Pharma B.V. Niko's extensive experience at Roche from January 2006 to October 2020 encompassed various leadership roles in Medical Affairs, including Global Head for both Oncology and Hematology. Prior to Roche, Niko practiced as a Medical Oncologist and Hematologist at Ruhr University Bochum and completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Niko's academic background includes an MD PhD in Medicine from Ruhr University Bochum, complemented by education at Harvard Medical School and the University of Hamburg.
