Nina Chu

Nina Chu, PhD, is the Director in Cell Therapy for Oncology R&D at AstraZeneca, where they drive the development of novel CAR-T programs targeting solid tumors. They have extensive experience in immuno-oncology, focusing on adaptive immunity and the modulation of the tumor microenvironment, particularly in pancreatic cancer. Previously, Nina held positions as Senior Scientist and Associate Director at AstraZeneca, and completed postdoctoral research at Johns Hopkins University. Nina earned a PhD in Pharmacology and Molecular Sciences from Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Biochemistry from UCLA.
