Nina Lawrence

Nina Lawrence is an experienced DMPK scientist currently serving as the Director of DMPK at AstraZeneca. Passionate about fostering inter-disciplinary teamwork, Nina supports project progression within drug discovery from lead generation to candidate selection. Previously, they played key roles at the Drug Discovery and Development Centre at the University of Cape Town, including Chief Scientific Officer, where they managed the ADME platform and contributed to notable collaborations in TB and malaria projects. With a solid educational background, including a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from Stellenbosch University, Nina emerges as a leader in data-driven decision-making and assay development in the pharmaceutical field.
