Parthasarathi Rath

Parthasarathi Rath, PhD, is an experienced research scientist specializing in membrane proteins and small molecule discovery sciences. They completed their PhD in Structural Biology at the University of Paul Sabatier from 2009 to 2013. Their postdoctoral research at the ASU Biodesign Institute and Biozentrum, University of Basel, focused on structural studies of ion channels and the development of assays for antibiotic discovery. Currently, as a Senior Research Scientist at AstraZeneca since 2022, they support early drug discovery projects in cardiovascular and respiratory research. Parthasarathi has also served as an external consultant for Roche, where they developed functional assays for high-throughput screening of inhibitors.
