Patrick Darken

Patrick Darken is an accomplished statistician and current Executive Director and Head of Late Respiratory and Immunology Statistics at AstraZeneca. With a PhD in Statistics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Patrick has held leadership roles in various pharmaceutical companies, including Senior Director positions at Altana/Nycomed Pharmaceutical and Teva Pharmaceuticals, and as Vice President of Biostatistics at Pearl Therapeutics. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Patrick served as President of Darken Consulting, LLC, and was the Global Head of Biostatistics at Teva Pharmaceuticals. Patrick's extensive experience in biostatistics and data management has significantly contributed to advancements in respiratory and anti-inflammatory strategies within the industry.
