Paul Hynes

Paul Hynes is the Director of Global Project Management for Oncology Cell Therapy at AstraZeneca, a position held since 2021. Prior to this role, Paul served as Associate Director at AstraZeneca and worked as a Project Manager at Cell Medica from 2017 to 2019. Paul began their scientific career as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the National Cancer Institute from 2008 to 2014 and started as a Scientist I at MedImmune between 2014 and 2016. Paul earned a Ph.D. in Cell & Molecular Biology and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Microbiology from the National University of Ireland, Galway, and holds a Diploma in Fine Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals.
